About us
We are a proudly homegrown food brand located in Ughelli, Delta State, created with a deep love for good food and community. What started as a small family idea has grown into a place where quality meals and warm service come together.
The beginning
FFJ Eatery was founded by Francis Sasuode, a chartered accountant and public servant with the Delta State Government, alongside his wife Sarah Sasuode, the Managing Director of FFJ Eatery and the creative heart behind the kitchen. Together, they started by selling snacks by the roadside and were colloquially called “Husband and Wife meatpie”.
HOME MADE
During the COVID-19 lockdown, we took a bold step forward by moving into a rented shop close to home. This shift allowed us to expand our offerings beyond snacks into full meals, meeting the needs of a wider audience. Now we’ve converted that space to our Cakes & Cream parlour. Come check it out!

To strengthen the business, Sarah pursued professional culinary training, first in Nigeria and then in London. Her dedication to improving skills, especially in baking and food presentation, helped shape the quality and standards we are known for today.
